Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to identify and capture new business opportunities within the federal and DoD sectors.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for business growth.

Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, prime contractors, and potential partners.

Proposal Development: Lead the proposal development process, including RFP/RFQ analysis, proposal writing, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.

Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance our market position and expand our service offerings.

Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts to ensure compliance and successful execution.

Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on business development performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of business development experience, with at least 5 years in federal and DoD government contracting.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the federal acquisition process, FAR/DFAR regulations, and 8(a) program benefits and requirements.

Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Network: Established network within the federal and DoD contracting communities.

Clearance: Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
