  • What you will be doing

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
_


  • Responsible for the timely, accurate and thorough dissemination of information about the Company in compliance with disclosure regulations set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission for public companies.
  • Participate in quarterly financial results announcements, including preparation of quarterly financial press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, and key messaging materials.
  • Serve as key resource and secondary IR contact for day-to-day inquiries from investors and analysts, ensuring accurate, consistent and timely responses to external inquiries
  • Responsible for overseeing the development and production of the Annual Report to shareholders.
  • Responsible for monitoring investment community activities using databases and other tools in order to better understand and position the Company.
  • Responsible for organizing news releases related to activities such as organizational changes, Board of Director decisions and other Company activities.
  • Acts as primary liaison with the New York Stock Exchange related to operational activities.
  • Works closely with senior management for the purpose of assisting in the preparation of speeches and other media materials.
  • Works in conjunction with Company subsidiaries and the internal and outside legal counsel, finance, audit firms and other departments to verify that all information that should be made public is communicated via the appropriate distribution.
  • Maintain investor relations portion of corporate website.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
_


Requires broad training in fields such as finance, accountancy, communications, and/or journalism generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program.

Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the news media and investment community
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to skillfully and tactfully deal with the press, investors, shareholder community as well as all levels of management
  • Ability to interpret various financial information in order to prepare external communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
