The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Evaluation (OIEE) is committed to fostering assessment practices university-wide by supporting the collection, analysis, management, and use of data. We facilitate efforts of continuous improvement to enhance student learning and strengthen the university's programs, services, operations, and processes. Institutional Effectiveness - or "IE" - refers to the process of assessing the quality of student learning, educational programs, academic and student support services, and the administrative units across the university. OIEE staff support the institution in evaluating the extent to which established goals are met and help to facilitate the use of results from these evaluations to inform decision-making and improvements.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six years of experience in office administration.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives with a high level of discretion and independent judgment and initiative.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with planning and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills, flexible, and detailoriented
- Administrative experience working in higher education
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate & Planner
- Ability/willingness to learn new software when required, and comfort with troubleshooting technical and user experience issues in software
Essential Duties/Tasks
Administrative and Operational Support of Assessment Projects - Coordinates the administrative logistics for document collection processes supporting the assessment of curriculum requirements (including but not limited to the Core Curriculum and other specially designated courses) on a semester basis
These tasks include:
- Building, monitoring, and providing user support for the document collection systems (one of which is an officesupport software connected to the Learning Management System, the other a Microsoft workflow).
- Under the direction of their supervisor, generating samples of the documents collected, assigning reviewers, and tracking task completion of the scoring team,
- Collaborating with their supervisor and the office manager to ensure appropriate onboarding and process training of staff assisting with rubric scoring and the hosting of rubric calibration sessions and to support rubric scorers.
- Providing regular and detailed compliance reports of assessment participation and scoring/results.
Process Monitoring and Documentation - In all assigned duties, aids in process improvement, assisting in:
- The development of procedural documentation for internal and external use,
- Documenting the evolution of processes,
- Maintaining accurate records of practice,
- Monitoring compliance with timelines to ensure the completion of reporting cycles, and
- Working in collaboration with their supervisor to design communication plans and disseminate resources.
Comprehensive Program Review Support - Provides backup to support the logistics of comprehensive program reviews, including document collection and linking of evidence to aid in the completion of self-study reports for academic support units and may perform other duties as assigned
