    Location: Detroit, MI

    Salary: $100,000

    Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday

    Contract Type: Direct Hire

    Kelly Services has partnered with a local social services agency to find a Project Manager to join their team. In business over 20 years, our client provides food, housing, job programs and more to members of the community. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a capital campaign, from planning and execution to evaluation and reporting. Apply today for immediate consideration

    Responsibilities:

    • Planning: Collaborate with the Donor Relations Officer (DRO) and agency leadership to develop strategic plans for the capital campaign that is aligned with the agency's fundraising goals and objectives. Provide day to day management of the campaign as directed by the DRO.
    • Timeline Management: Create detailed project timelines and schedules to ensure timely execution of campaign activities and milestones.
    • Resource Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, volunteers, and external vendors to secure necessary resources for campaign implementation, including materials, venues, grant pursuit, and technology.
    • Communication: As directed by the DRO, serve as a primary point of contact for campaign-related inquiries and communications, both internally and externally. Ensure clear and consistent communication with donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders throughout the campaign. Plan and implement campaign related events including event logistics, appointments, event content, menus (as necessary), etc. Oversee event execution through onsite management.
    • Donor Engagement: Propose and as approved, implement strategies to engage and steward current and prospective donors, including personalized outreach, donor recognition, and cultivation events. Develop donor focused marketing materials. Maintain donor prospect database. Conduct donor research and develop strategies and logistics for donor contact and recruitment. Donors include individuals, businesses, foundations.
    • Evaluation and Reporting: On an ongoing basis, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the capital campaign execution and recommend needed "course" corrections to address campaign deficiencies. Campaign effectiveness will be analyzed based on a predetermination of key metrics and feedback mechanisms. Maintain a file of all campaign correspondence and records. The Project Manager will use the Raiser's Edge Blackbaud record donor information and NXT to produce donor reports.

    Experience and Education:

    • Proven experience of 3+ years in project management, preferably in a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Commitment to the mission and values of the agency.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
