    AESC is hiring for the role of Quality Engineer, Construction to join the team in the US region.

    • Full-Time
    • Bowling Green, KY

    Role Overview

    As AESC grows its battery production to meet demand from OEM partners, we are looking for a Quality Engineer, Construction to ensure our facilities maintain high quality and efficiency standards. This pivotal role will be based at our Gigafactory in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a key production site for us.

    • What You Will Do
    • Utilize Comprehensive Understanding: Apply knowledge of standards and codes to maintain quality in construction projects.
    • Assist QA/QC Program Development: Contribute to creating site-specific quality control procedures.
    • Drive Quality Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
    • Create Quality Metrics: Develop and monitor quality performance metrics.
    • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to ethical standards and regulations.
    • Establish Relationships: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
    • Execute and Verify Inspections: Oversee and conduct quality inspections on site.
    • Perform Completion Checks: Verify completed work meets quality standards.
    • Document QC Activities: Maintain detailed reports of quality control activities.
    • Review Contractor Work: Assess contractor work for compliance with standards.
    • What You Need
    • Education and Experience: Bachelor's in engineering with 2+ years experience in related fields.
    • Knowledge of Construction Quality: Understanding of construction quality processes.
    • Experience with Mission-Critical Facilities: Management experience in critical facilities.
    • Code Research Skills: Ability to interpret construction-related codes and standards.
    • Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Nice to Have
    • Various certifications and extensive knowledge of industry standards.
