    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Bridge Engineer to join our team on a fully remote basis.

    As a key member of our structural engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and inspection of bridge structures across various projects in Illinois.

    The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of structural engineering principles, a strong background in bridge design, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead the structural design and analysis of bridge projects, including new construction, rehabilitation, and retrofitting.
    Perform structural assessments and evaluations of existing bridge structures, identifying deficiencies and recommending appropriate solutions.
    Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
    Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers, to ensure project success.
    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
    Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to assess project conditions and monitor construction progress.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Illinois required.
    Structural Engineer (SE) licensure in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridge design and analysis.
    Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, or similar.
    Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
    Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
