Description
Piatt County Nursing Home is currently seeking a full-time HR Coordinator. This person will report directly to the Financial Director.HUMAN RESOURCES
- Manage Pre-Employment Process
- Manage Unemployment Claims
- Respond to and file worker's compensation claims
- Point of contact for the Department Heads and employees with HR related concerns or questions.
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION
- Enter new hires into payroll system
- Process payroll biweekly
TIME AND ATTENDANCE
- Enter all new hires into the time system.
- Process employee changes and terminations in the system
- Manage time system updates.
BENEFITS
- Enter new hires into the online benefits portal
- Track employee eligibility for health insurance and retirement plans and follow up with employees on enrollment as needed
- Answer all employee benefit questions
- Enroll/Change and terminate employee in benefits systems monthly
SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Professional and positive attitude
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Consistency in meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently
SHRM Certified
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
Pay:
$ $34.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Human Resources: 1 year (preferred)
