Description
Background

Autism Community Alliance (ACA) is a nonprofit organization that welcomes neurodivergent young adults (18+ in age) interested in vocational, recreational, and social programming to foster connections in the DC metro area.

Our programs focus on providing close personal care support to enhance independence in daily living and communication.

ACA is based in a local community church in Springfield, VA, founded in 2021, and currently operates on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm with plans to expand to 3-4 days a week.

Participants engage in various activities and are supported by personal attendants for a better experience.

Program activities include morning socials, walks, volunteering, games, arts and crafts, cooking, dining out, and outings.
