- Design electrical power systems of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
- Design associated electronic control systems for the equipment
- Collaborate with Digital Engineering in the development of control schemes and associated software
- Interpret customer electrical specifications and plan drawings to ensure the designs meet the customer's requirements
- Collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to assure the design meets their needs
- Utilize SolidWorks Electrical & AutoCAD Electrical to develop schematics, 3D models, and associated BOMs
- Design quality test procedures and test fixtures for the equipment
- Bench test and lab test electrical systems as required
- Support manufacturing and field technicians to troubleshoot the design
- Develop and maintain electrical specification and design standards
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience in the refrigeration industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with positive can-do attitude
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- The ability to demonstrate dependability and flexibility to manage work as required
- Working knowledge of NEC
- Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical and Solidworks Electrical
