Description

We are a Nonprofit Organization that provides Direct Support Services for adults with Intellectual Disabilities.

The position we currently have open is to provide service to your clients at their homes. Our clients are located in Santa Monica, Culver City, Hawthorne and all West LA area.

We offer extensive training and great job opportunities

Employees are required to have the following:

Driver's License and a clean driving records
Proof of Car Insurance
TB test

/Part-time

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and care to individuals in various settings
Assist with daily activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility.
Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of individuals.
Maintain a clean and organized environment for individuals.
Foster a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for individuals under your care.

Requirements:

Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred.
Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies.
Familiarity with systems and protocols related to assisted living.
Ability to administer medication following proper guidelines.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families.
Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
