- Establish domain specific standards, strategy, and roadmaps in alignment with Enterprise standards; guide implementation and execution.
- Create vision for future state technologies and architecture; contribute to setting Enterprise standards and strategy.
- Create domain specific content/collateral based on EA standards for Enterprise Architecture Repository.
- Develop technology specifications ensuring optimal access and adherence to standards.
- Design solutions meeting operational requirements such as scalability, security, and reliability.
- Identify technologies based on price, performance, and constraints.
- Lead research and development efforts as a subject matter expert.
- Estimate level of effort, work breakdown structures, and technical resource planning.
- Gain buy-in on proposed solutions and provide input throughout project lifecycle.
- Assist in developing service level agreements and performance measures.
- Participate in SDLC phases to ensure adherence to EA technology standards.
- Ensure technology solutions are production ready and maintainable.
- Act as technical owner for domain specific solutions in Production environment.
- Facilitate communications between IS workgroups and business stakeholders.
- Ensure performance and sustainability of technology solutions in Production.
- Own problems and incidents, and communicate critical situation status.
- Review implementation solutions for improvement opportunities.
- Assist in IS Service Management policy and process improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Stay current on domain related technologies and best practices.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in programming, engineering, and systems analysis.
- 4+ years of experience with J2EE application servers and containers.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .Net Core and cloud deployment.
- 4+ years of experience with Microservices, SOA, ESB, and integration technologies.
- Experience in Enterprise Cloud deployment.
- Proven track record in delivering middleware integration projects.
- Thorough understanding of enterprise architecture and application integration.
- Strong technical knowledge in architecture and application systems design.
- ITILv3 and Cloud/DevSecOps certifications a plus.
- Understanding of relational data structures, SQL, and NOSQL methodologies.
- Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.
- Travel may exceed 50%.
