- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in a hightechnology environment (Aerospace, Military, Automotive, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Familiarity with government contractual procurement procedures and quality requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office/PC and relevant engineering software
- Must be a US Citizen
- Drive advancement in production engineering capabilities and product streamlining initiatives
- Oversee fixture designs and stress calculations for new products
- Generate procedures, processes, and fixtures to support scalability
- Utilize tools for improved process capabilities and analysis
- Support proposals, program costing, and operational efficiencies
- Manage project tracking and reporting
- Develop assembly procedures and design fixturing for new products
- Address design challenges to meet delivery dates and cost goals
- Contribute to our business and engineering strategy
- Manage engineering resources and external relationships
- Proactively address issues and identify improvement opportunities
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Allocate resources for maximum production utilization
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members
- Facilitate closure of initiatives and activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication
- Organize and lead team meetings and improvement initiatives
- Keep executive management informed of area activities and significant problems
- Assume responsibility for special projects and assignments as required
