- Listens for unusual sounds from machines and equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, machine operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Hours: 1st Shift, Full Time, Monday - Friday 6am - 3:00pm, On Call Weekend Rotation
Starting Wage: $35/hr. +pending experience
$5,000 Retention Bonus (paid out over 1st year of employment)
SUMMARY
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of electrical experience and electrical troubleshooting experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Successful completion of trade-related apprenticeship sufficient to possess valid Journeyman's card. Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman, Industrial Electrician Journeyman.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
