Job description:

The Project Manager will oversee the building and installation process on site at customer locations.

• Direct and supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with the Construction Safety Manuals, OSHA standards and common worksite safety practices.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Interpret and explain plans and direct the work as needed on site, ensuring design specifications are being followed.
• Self perform (when required) and oversee labor as needed to complete the work.
• Be the point person on site for owner contact on a day to day basis.
• Properly document the progress of the project, through daily photos and project logs.
• Maintain frequent communication with the office of job progress, upcoming project milestones.
• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers / subcontractors to construction sites.
• Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects and maintain inventory management.
• Take part in staff scheduling correspondence as needed.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
• Confer with office personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of construction standards and practices
• Strong ability to lead multiple crews
• Bilingual is a major plus, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized
• A minimum of 35 years of experience in the building / construction industry
• Computer proficiency
• Inventory management / material handling
• OSHA certification
• Forklift Operation

Pay:
$54, $58,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Experience:

• Project management: 1 year (preferred)
• Construction: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (required)
• OSHA 10 (required)
