Panel Installers at Corcoran Glass & Paint are responsible for the assembly and installation of panels on commercial projects.
Members of the panel team must be motivated, team oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Common projects include:
health care facilities, schools, car dealerships, office buildings, arenas, and university campus buildings.
Responsibilities:
- All duties related to the installation or fabrication of aluminum panels
- Understand panel installation and repair techniques, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Read and interpret drawings or specifications
- Operate basic hand and power tools such as, but not limited to: tape measure, various saws, drill, impact drivers, utility knife, caulk gun, hammer, and more
- Run caulk lines that are smooth, straight and free of defects
- Load (and unload) materials onto company vehicles
- Prepare and plan materials for following day's work
- Maintain a safe and clean worksite
- Perform additional duties as required
Basic Qualifications:
- Must pass a preemployment drug screening
- At least
1 year of commercial construction experience is desired - Knowledge of general construction, including the ability to read a tape measure and operate hand and power tools
- Possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions; majority of work is done from the exterior
- Ability to work at various heights; projects may be completed using boom or scissors lifts
- Willingness to travel; occasionally projects may require travel with overnight stays
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities
- Must have transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
