Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Independent handling of process and plant engineering projects, including coordination of suppliers and service providers
  • Identification, initiation and management of measures/projects for continuous process optimization and development of technical solutions in the chemical production environment
  • Optimization of quality, cost-effectiveness and process stability, as well as continuous improvement of plant availability in the chemical production environment
  • Creation of technical documentation and execution of relevant tests and tasks (such as maintenance, qualification, work instructions, inspections, etc.)
  • Ensuring a qualified, smooth and legally compliant operation of process engineering plants
  • Identifying cost-saving potential in established processes

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Completed degree in chemical engineering or process engineering
  • Experience in handling process and plant engineering projects, including coordination of suppliers and service providers, ideally in the chemical-technical field
  • Experience in the field of measurement and control technology, as well as programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Experience in the GxP environment
  • Proficient in current MS Office packages
  • Good written and spoken English skills
