    Primary Job Duties:

    · Review project drawings and specifications to define a comprehensive scope of work and associated cost estimate for SCADA system projects.

    · Develop detailed proposal documents outlining the scope of work and project pricing.

    · Attend pre-bid conferences and conduct site visits as necessary to gather essential project information.

    · Maintain accurate matrices of all estimated projects and analytical data for reference and analysis.

    · Collaborate with the outside sales team to generate cost estimates and proposals for projects they are pursuing.

    Requirements:

    · AS or BS degree, preferably in engineering or construction-related fields. Other degrees will be considered based on relevant experience.

    · Proficiency in understanding the automation and controls industry and the processes required to estimate complete SCADA system projects.

    · Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and proposal preparation.

    · Proficient in PDF editors such as Adobe PDF, Bluebeam, or Foxit for document manipulation and review.

    · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.

    · Familiarity with drafting software, particularly AutoCAD, or the willingness to learn.

    · Ability to understand and apply component specifications and construction requirements as defined by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. 508-A and 698 specifications.

    · Strong analytical skills for reviewing and compiling project data accurately.

    · Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft proposal documents with correct grammar and punctuation.

    · Self-motivated and deadline-focused with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    · Fundamental understanding of computers, networking, and Microsoft Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, 11 operating systems.

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team and with clients.

    · Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time as required for project meetings, site visits, and conferences

    This position operates primarily in an office environment and across Executive and engineering staff. SFI management performs yearly performance evaluations against defined performance objectives and criteria, with salary adjustments as merited.

    The position offers work hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Up to 20% travel time will be required to start-up, commission, and service customer locations around the southeast. Weekend stays are rare. A company provided vehicle will be provided for all travel and all testing equipment and required tools will be provided.
