- Interpreting customer and internal drawings to determine material and production requirements
- Adhering to Jet Machine's policies and procedures
- Verifying product compliance with specified requirements across raw material, work in process, and finished product
- Utilizing inspection equipment such as Calipers and micrometers for part measurements
- Experience with CMM - Faro Arm is advantageous
- Recording inspection findings using Jet and/or customer inspection report forms
- Generating Jet inspection reports and balloon drawings
- Maintaining cleanliness in the work area and inspection equipment
- Performing other assigned tasks
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills and fundamental blueprint reading ability
- Familiarity with inspection tools like standard hand tools, Faro Arm, and CMM
- Keen attention to detail in inspection processes
- Capability to create accurate and legible documentation in a timely manner
- Proficiency in using SDS sheets and adhering to basic machine shop safety protocols
- Preferable knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Physical endurance to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Jet Machine builds armored kits for JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicles). These kits enhance the vehicles to better handle modern threats like improvised explosive devices (IED's) and provide increased survivability, mobility, and versatility for military operations. Additionally, Jet Machine supplies specialty metals to customers in the Defense, Aerospace, and Oil & Gas Industries.

The Quality Inspector role in the Inspection Department focuses on ensuring machined and welded parts meet customer specifications, with preference given to candidates with Faro Arm experience.
