    Position Function and Duties

    The Senior Analyst 2 position provides an advanced level of analysis, training, and operational support for the Records Management Dept. Provides project management leadership and direction. Supports technical and non-technical change while supporting process improvement initiatives and compliance with internal controls. Identifies and implements best practices and achieves results; compliance auditing; development and maintenance of standard business rules, regulations, and procedures.

    Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Provide analytical support via new technological or procedural solutions to business operations
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance for system failures, modifications and enhancements
    • Develop a knowledge base of problem areas for the users and educate accordingly
    • Develop requested queries/reports and meaningful performance measures utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
    • Define data quality queries that provide the ability to troubleshoot and correct data errors thereby providing more reliable data to make business decisions
    • Provide effective data that will enable management to identify trends and analyze workflow and resource allocations

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience, & Certification(s):
    • Bachelor's degree or four years of direct experience required
    • Six years of operations management, business analyst or project management experience, or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position duties
    • Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • OBIEE, EnterpriseOne, and OnBase experience preferred or ability to learn
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Must possess leadership ability and team building skills to effectively manage professional and non-professional staff and interact with all levels of management.
    • Must be competent and knowledgeable of legal procedures, accounting functions and computer operations.
    • Proficiency in business English and business math required
    • Must be highly motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey concepts, visions, and goals, speak diplomatically and persuasively, use good relationship building skills and adapt to the audience
    • Ability to quickly learn common business practices and understand implications of associated regulations and laws to align team goals with business goals
    • Employee professional growth and development skills required
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively monitor performance objectives, work and make decisions under pressure and meet all deadlines, goals and objectives as set forth
    • Effective interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and professional demeanor are required
    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail required
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
    • Use tact in sensitive situations, maintain confidentiality of restricted files, and maintain a courteous attitude at all times
    • Demonstrate proficiency with operations and general care of the PC, printers, and other required office equipment

    Physical Requirements:
    • Office: Majority of the time is spent sitting at the computer, remainder of the time is spent assisting in other functions
    • Work from Home (if applicable): Majority of the time is spent sitting at the computer
    • This position requires clear verbal interaction with employees, the public and agencies
    • This position may require bending and reaching
    • This position may require going to other departments and/or offices on different floors and/or buildings throughout the day
    • This position may require occasional travel to other sites to review products, or attend meetings, seminars or classes
    • Ability to use standard office equipment
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
