Responsibilities:


Program Manager, Wound Care position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA


The Program Manager - Wound Care develops, implements and coordinates activities through interdisciplinary collaboration and utilization of wound care guidelines and practice standards.

Maintains current knowledge of standards of care as set forth by the Chairs the Wound Care Committee by scheduling monthly meetings, developing the agenda, and managing meeting activities including minutes and quarterly reporting to the Quality Improvement Committee.

Oversees the completion of hospital wide Wound Care Studies (IPUP). Actively participates with corporate partners in management of the hospital wound care program.

Oversees policy development with periodic review and update of policies, forms, protocols and standards of care guidelines for wound care including Standardized Procedure for Wound Care.

Serves as clinical resource for the care and management of wound care patients. Provides direct patient care. - Rounds on wound care patients, and follows up on patient care issues with physicians, staff, patients and families.


The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital.

Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community.

Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center.

The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus.

It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.


Qualifications:

Minimum Essential Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Experience in

Wound Care Program Coordination:
planning, implementing and evaluating outcomes.

  • Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.

Required Licensure / Certifications:


  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of California.
  • Current basic life support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Current Advance Life support (ACLS) preferred.

Salary:
Starting from $108,555.20 to $162,843.20 a year
