    Role Title:
    Quality Assurance Analyst


    Locations:
    Charlotte, NC ; Des Moines, IA ; Minneapolis, MN ; Chandler, AZ(Hybrid-3 days in office)

    *Will cover evening/nighttime code validations once/month on Tuesday/Wednesday evenings. Will flex to either leave early or have off the next day

    Job Description:


    In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Quality Assurance and contribute to large-scale planning related to Systems Quality Assurance deliverables.

    Review and analyze moderately complex Systems Quality Assurance challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

    Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Systems Quality Assurance deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

    Collaborate with client personnel in Systems Quality Assurance.


    Required Qualifications:

    4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

    Top Skills

    4 years of UAT Testing, having done:

    • Test Cases
    • Scripting
    • Execution
    • Business facing experience, has written design specs, communicated to the business groups.
    • Takes initiative, has drive to execute

    • Jira
    • ALM or Octane
    • Finance good but not required. Enterprise level business experience is good.
    Part of ECIR Enterprise Complaints. Do all the UAT on most of the customer facing apps under company as well as some internal apps.

    A production support team handles issues that come through Jira tickets or through production validation calls with other business units.

    This person will handle UAT on a Scrum team for one of the apps. Will analyze user stories to create and execute test cases. After being acclimated, they'll do peer review on other's test cases for that app. They'll then get into production validation, doing testing to ensure code is accurate before release.

    On a day to day they'll be working in the monthly release cycle. Go into meetings, understand the needs.

    Then start writing test cases, and move into testing by the last 2 weeks of the month and move into execution and work through debugging and updating.

    At the time of the release, they'll cover evening/nighttime code validations once/month on Tuesday/Wednesday evenings. Will flex to either leave early or have off the next day.


    • Document test cases and risk research and create test plans.
    • Record test progress and results
    • Identify and track issues throughout testing.
    • Perform manual and automated testing.
    • Consult with users providing advice and direction.
    • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
    • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.
    • Research system features being tested.
    • Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy.
    • Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
    • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
    • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
    • Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff.

    Job Duties:

    • Analyze stories to identify test cases and scenarios.
    • Write scripts.
    • Perform peer reviews.
    • Execute scripts.
    • Log defects
    • Perform demonstrations of system changes.
    • Analyze stories for risk/approach in production validation, provide direction to less experienced testers on scripting for validation, and participate in production validation for code installs.
    • Create testing documentation including traceability matrices, sign off communications and other artifacts as needed.
    • Recommend and implement process changes.
    • Act as a mentor to less experienced testers.
    • Assign work to testers.
    • Monitor progress of scripting and execution to ensure deadlines for testing are met.
    • Build and maintain relationship with product team.

    Required Qualifications, US:

    • 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
