    Description

    Outstanding long-term contract opportunity Senior QA Analyst in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).

    Required Experience

    • 7 years of Systems Quality Assurance and systems or application testing experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, and education.
    • Develops testing plans and oversees test script development and implementation to ensure the appropriate level of quality assurance and validation testing is performed as part of the team's deployment
    • Processes for deliverables including metrics, manual reporting, web-based portal application, and Tableau BI dashboards.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Jira or VersionOne tool
    • Understanding of web, API, and database testing technologies using SoapUI or Postman

    Desired Experience

    • 7 years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
    • Experience creating test scripts and using automated test tools (i.e., Selenium or QTP)
    • Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
    • 5 years of ALM experience
    • 5 years of Selenium experience
    • Experience following Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
    • Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL)

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Resource will be performing sustainability testing on third-party applications to stay ahead of defects caused by weekly updates/ patches.
    • Responsible for the development of test plans/scripts, identification of upstream events requiring regression testing, identification of direct platform changes requiring feature and regression testing, execution of any identified testing, and reporting/tracking of defects.
    • Creating a roadmap to the future state and implementing strategy.
    • Develop a variety of system quality assurance testing initiatives for projects on software systems.
    • Complete systems testing and create systems quality assurance testing strategies.
    • Execute complex test plans and scripts to facilitate testing activities.
    • Document and verify the resolution of software and specification defects.
    • Develop standards and procedures to determine release readiness and streamline the testing process.
    • Provide guidance, lead, and prioritize testing activities for projects.
    • Collaborate with teams to develop testing strategies and provide specific technical guidance on defects to developers.
    • Lead implementation of complex initiatives impacting one or more lines of business.
    • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met.
    • Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
