    Director of Nursing (RN)

    Muncie, IN

    Care Strategies LLC is a locally owned, Indiana-based Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing provider with locations in Muncie, Loogootee, and Vincennes. We're seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations at Cardinal Care Strategies in Muncie.

    Who We're Looking For

    You're a Registered Nurse (ASN or BSN) who:

    • Has experience leading teams in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Memory Care
    • Is confident making decisions and solving complex clinical challenges
    • Enjoys mentoring, coaching, and developing nursing staff
    • Brings energy, accountability, and a patient-first mindset
    • Wants to grow into — or continue excelling in — a Director of Nursing role

    Key Responsibilities (High-Level)

    • Lead and oversee all nursing services and clinical operations
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
    • Drive quality assurance, survey readiness, and care excellence
    • Partner with administration and medical leadership
    • Develop policies, procedures, and nursing service standards
    • Lead interdisciplinary collaboration and committee participation

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Active RN license (Indiana)
    • Prior leadership experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
    • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
    • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices
    • Ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and accountability
