We are seeking an energetic, friendly professional to join our team as a part-time Logistics Associate Order Filler and Shipper.

This is an entry level position at an e-commerce fulfillment business. Logistics Associates are responsible for fulfilling orders from a digital medium accurately and efficiently. This position also includes beginner shipping and inventory-related tasks.

This position requires strong computer and math skills. Most work tasks require the use of technology and software programs.

This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager and is not exempt from state & federal overtime guidelines.


Pay & Expectations
$18.50 per hour wage. This position is a part-time position. Weekly hours can range from 10 to 22 hours per week. Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm.

Employee will be evaluated at 30 day intervals to measure progress in productivity and error benchmarks for the first 90 days of employment.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders from a digital pick list accurately and efficiently
• Process inventory quality measures and accurate precounts
• Research and communicate order issues
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Ship domestic USPS and FedEx orders using shipping software
• Assist with other inventory and warehouse related tasks as instructed

Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to work on feet all day and lift 20 pounds
• Excellent attitude, positive teamwork, punctual and reliable attendance
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts the size of a dime and smaller throughout each day

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

• Math skills to convert units of measure, pick the right number of packages and perform inventory counts. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and moving a decimal point are all necessary each day. A skills assessment to determine work readiness will be administered to confirm employment.

• Attention to detail and focus on the assigned task
• Reach stock on shelves up to 6 feet high & stoop to retrieve items at ground level
