    Description

    Scott Felder Homes is an award winning homebuilder looking to add to our operations team The Community Coordinator plays a critical role within the organization overseeing every phase of the contract process from point of sale to successful close. Working closely with all internal departments as well as external service providers, the Community Coordinator has excellent communication skills and sharp attention to detail. At Scott Felder Homes we value integrity, always striving to 'do the right thing' for our customers, employees, vendor partners and community.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

    • Acting as primary liaison between Sales department, Construction team, Executive managers and Mortgage and Title Company representatives
    • Collecting and reviewing all original contract documents for accuracy and completeness with critical attention to detail
    • Overseeing contract and budget review processes to present complete packages to the Division President
    • Initiating Pre-Start process ensuring all required information and forms are included
    • Scheduling and facilitating closings and preparing all related closing documents
    • Creating, updating and maintaining Closing Calendar
    • Monitoring loan and construction status to prevent delays and ensure successful and timely closings
    • Attending weekly starts and loan status meetings and providing updates as necessary
    • Preparing and distributing weekly operations reports
    • Reviewing spec home pricing on a continual basis and monitoring for changes and updates needed
    • Maintaining and updating community price sheets keeping all appropriate parties in Sales and Marketing informed
    • Performing other general duties as needed including document management, data entry and other clerical tasks

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High School or equivalent (Required)
    • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
    • 2+ years experience in residential homebuilding (Preferred)
    • Strong time-management and organization skills
    • General knowledge of accounting principles and real estate contract laws
    • Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, and communicate and write effectively
    • Initiative to problem solve and work through challenges
    • Commitment to provide excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
