THEBEN SMART ENERGY - this is the innovation forge of Theben AG*, developing premium solutions for the digitalization of the energy transition.

Your role

  • You will actively shape the energy transition.
  • Development of a software platform in Golang/Go for our hardware, enabling completely new solutions in the field of renewable energy, electromobility, and smart grid.
  • Active participation in product development within a team.
  • Conceptualization and implementation of innovative technologies in projects.
  • Optimization, maintenance, and upkeep of existing code base.
  • Collaboration in agile development teams.

Your profile

  • Completed degree in information technology, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of a programming language such as Go, Java, C++, or similar (ideally in a Linux environment).
  • Experience in a Linux environment.
  • Ideal experience in embedded devices, build systems (e.g. Yocto), microservice architectures, CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.), and agile development methods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence in working in distributed teams.
  • Openness to new technologies.
