Job Posting Summary:


Mercy University Registrar's Office ensures the integrity and security of academic records and provides enrollment and academic support through innovative processes, complex systems and outstanding customer service to students, campus partners, and other collaborators.

Mercy University's Registrar's Office (RO) is seeking a University Scheduling Specialist to oversee the University Schedule of Classes, academic class scheduling, the course catalog, analysis and maintenance of classroom and instructional-space and scheduling for curricular, cocurricular, and extra-curricular activities across Mercy's three physical campuses and the growing online campus.


Qualifications:


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • One plus (1+) years' experience in a higher education administrative support or student service unit/department.
  • Strong administrative and analytical skills, including the ability to research, evaluate, and analyze.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of partners.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional composure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling critical materials.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations including faculty, staff, and students at the University.

Physical/Other Requirements:


  • Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies.
  • Ability to travel between campuses independently and work onsite in a campus office.
  • Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual._
Mercy University promotes a community campus environment.

New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
