Key Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate a 26' Box Truck with a lift gate.
  • Load and unload truck both at the depot and at delivery locations.
  • Utilize handheld computers to manage delivery documentation, including issuing invoices and processing credits.
  • Check in products with grocery receiving clerks at various locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
  • Follow a structured delivery schedule to ensure timely delivery and meet grocery stores' receiving time requirements.
  • Conduct basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws.

Requirements:


  • Valid Class D driver's license and clean driving record. Class C or higher is preferred.
  • Must possess a current DOT Medical Card.
  • Proficiency in using handheld computers and electronic inventory systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift items and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in logistics is a plus.
