Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time server to become an integral part of our team You will take orders and serve food to patrons at the dining establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Be punctual, outgoing, and friendly
- Build rapport with customers
- Answer questions about the menu
- Take Orders
- Resemble a salesperson in the sense of urging customers to try new food and/or drink items
- Serve food, beer, and wine, and soft drinks to guests
- Greet and serve the guests with a smile and a positive attitude
- Have a clear understanding of the menu and be able to explain the menu items to the guests
- Arrive to your shift promptly
- Adhere to the side work checklist
- Be familiar with operating tablets and the Clover POS system
- Be a team player
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Be 21 years or older
- At least 2 years of experience as a server at a restaurant
- Have a CA food handler's certificate
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Be able to multitask
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Be able to speak English
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
