Systems, Processes, Reporting & Data Analysis:
Accounting/Finance professional with experience in reporting and data integrations to design and maintain the company's financial systems and reports.

The objective would be to increase efficiency and accuracy in the data flow and produce a robust set of financial interactive reports that represent clarity and vision into the company's past, present and projected performance.


The responsibilities would include:

Systems/Processes:

To design, maintain, and improve the company's systems regarding key company-wide processes.

  • Troubleshoot with employees and management regarding strongest issues/lacks in current process that are nondepartmental specific.
  • Determine width of the issue within each department and rate its effectiveness.
  • Brainstorm with management about possible improvements and new options.
  • Design the new process and all its steps.
  • Write up the completed process and create a project plan.
  • Lead the Project Implementation
  • Provide training and tools for new or adjusted processes.
  • Maintaining and designing the Chart of Accounts in an organized, systematic setup that is easily identifiable and usable for reporting and processing.
  • Maintain the default GL determinations for items and vendors so the data will flow correctly from the relevant transactional activity.
  • Working alongside the CFO and the full accounting team to streamline data inflow and outflow with processes and systems that are most efficient and conducive to productivity, accuracy, and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain, implement, and integrate systems that are relevant to financial data

This would include:

  • Maximizing current data and reporting systems for ease of use by the accounting team, including creating helpful and insightful reports and tools.
  • Ensure the mappings and systems setup are aligned with financial processes and needs.
  • Staying current with the system's upgrades and releases may be beneficial to accounting processes.
  • Implement and integrate any new financial reporting systems.

Reporting:

Reporting - To create and automate all standardized reporting needed for each department and the company's management team.

  • Create an extensive set of Reports & Dashboards to review and analyze the company's financial performance

This would include:

  • Monthly Financial Statements presented in multiple different formats and views to represent the data in an informative and intuitive manner.
  • To create and implement KPI Dashboards that would give relevant daily financial info to the CFO and Business Owners
  • To create analysis reports based on the monthly trends and company growth.
  • To create ad hoc analysis and review reports for any financial data
  • Design forecast reports and budgets based on the present data and known future impacts.
  • Implement & maintain the reporting software.
  • Build and maintain robust datasets and models with all the correct relationships and measures.
  • Communicate with department teams on info and report requests.
  • Design report structure and goals.
  • Create all reports requested.
  • Validate the data on each report and dashboard.
  • Customize the reports as needed.
  • Continuously validate and reconcile.

Analysis:


Data Analysis - To provide robust analysis of the company's financial and non-financial data on a continuous and ad-hoc basis.


  • Review all data points and datasets continuously.
  • Analyze the integrity and validity of each data point its uses and its costs.
  • Consistently cleanse and validate all data points.
  • Create analytical automated reporting on the integral data functions.
  • Build ad hoc analysis for various teams as needed for projects/projections.

Pay range:
$130,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience.
