Description

JF Restaurants by Michelin-Starred and Award-winning Chef John Fraser is hiring for experienced
Hosts with a genuine sense of warmth and hospitality to join the team at the Times Square Edition for the restaurant and lobby bar locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating an energetic front door experience
Knowledge of food and beverage menus
Providing attentiveness and excellent service to VIP guests within the hotel and restaurant
Increasing sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution with special attention to guest experience at the front door
Greeting and engaging guests in a warm and professional manner
Operating reservation system to maximize covers and smooth flow of guests
Coordinating effective flow of guests and staff for a variety of events and highvolume services
Communicating effectively with management, host, and dining room teams
Estimating wait times for guests and maintaining the guest wait list
Creating buzz about the restaurant by demonstrating knowledge of service, food and beverage offerings
Compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes as well as Company safety and security policies
Ability to maintain composure in a fastpaced, highvolume environment
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English

Requirements:

Experience in a similar restaurant setting or position
Participate as a team player with other key team members including setting tables, participating in onsite and offsite events, and creative contribution.
Outstanding ability to communicate and make genuine connections
Ability to maintain composure in a fastpaced, highvolume environment
Maintaining a cordial demeanor when under pressure
Additional duties as necessary and assigned
