What you can expect to do in this position:

Operate and maintain the meltdown furnace, flux, clean, skim, weigh and store dross as required
Skim and clean individualholding furnaces on aluminum diecast machines
Kept furnace filled to properlevel required
Clean and maintain launder system as required
Clean and maintan scrap incline conveyor and also tub transfer system as required
Maintain records on metal usage and other required recordable documentation
Practice good housekeeping including 5S
Keep area 's free of scrap and spills
Obey and practice all safety procedures and properly use LOTO and wear required PPE
Record on weekly form and report any furnace issues to supervisor
Weigh and move all scrap collected to designated trailer recording on paperwork in shipping
Clean drain/trench behind launder system as needed
Clean under dumper lift and conveyor system as needed
Any other duties that management may deem necessary

Requirements:

Must be capable of passing hilo test for permit and able to drive hilo in safe manner
Must wear spats 8-10hrs per day as well as other required personal protective equipment including hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields and gloves
Stand from 8 to 10hrs with up to 3 breaks allowed
Must be able to lift up to 65lbs up to 20 times per shift

Pay:
Up to $19.50 per hour
