Position Summary:

Wafa House is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to perform counseling and provide clinical support, staff/intern supervision, training and consultation services for clinical and counseling services at Wafa House.


Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Provide therapeutic services for clients
  • Reports directly to the Executive Director
  • Ensure that clinical staff have a clear understanding of their job responsibilities and priorities
  • Direct and oversee the performance of the clinical support staff
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and other department supervisors to attain efficiency and high productivity through proper direction of clinical staff
  • Manage department budget including tracking all expenses
  • Promote cooperative behavior between Clinical Services and other departments involved with patient care and services; keep them informed of developments affecting their functions
  • Attend biweekly supervisors and staff meetings
  • Arrange for staff inservices or training as needs are identified
  • Effectively set annual goals for clinical staff and perform evaluations
  • As needed and requested, actively support the Executive Director with outreach to promote counseling services offered at the agency
  • Assist the Executive Director in preparing monthly statistics and create needed reports
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Minimum Master's Degree, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LPC
  • 35 years directly related experience in clinical services
  • 20 hour supervision course certificate
  • 12 years supervisory experience
  • Must possess excellent communication & computer skills
  • Must be organized and have the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Experience working with the Muslim populations is a plus
  • Arabic or Spanish speaking is a plus

Hours/Rate

  • Hybrid work schedule
  • 10 hours per week
- $50 per hour
