Content of your Dual Study Program

As a business informatics student with a specialization in system integration at Shady Point, you will ensure that hardware and software run smoothly throughout the company.

In practice, you will work in our production department, dealing with networks, servers, large databases, and even mainframes.

The theoretical part of your studies will take place at the university, while the practical part will be with us.

As we manage multiple data centers and a variety of servers with different architectures across Germany, your areas of responsibility will be diverse.

These include administration and further development of existing systems, as well as the implementation of new technologies.


Upon successful completion of your dual study program, you will receive the internationally recognized title of Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics with a specialization in system integration.

The program starts on August 1st of each year and lasts for 6 semesters, which is equivalent to 3 years.

We offer this dual study program at our locations in Hannover and Muenster in cooperation with the Weserbergland University of Applied Sciences (HSW) in Hameln.
