Description

In this leadership role, you will take ownership of assigned network infrastructure initiatives and projects throughout their lifecycle, with a specific focus on enterprise network edge, perimeter, and cloud networking solutions.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the delivery of Network Infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.

This involves coordinating tasks, allocating resources, and removing any obstacles that may hinder project progress and team productivity.


Functional Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage resource capacity to align with business needs, ensuring optimal utilization of team members and infrastructure resources. Continuously monitor workload and allocate resources accordingly to meet project demands and deliverables
  • Act as a thought leader, innovator, and agent of change within the network infrastructure domain. Influence and inspire team members to explore new ideas, drive implementation strategies, and proactively share knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall capabilities of the team.
  • Establish and maintain visibility into deployment outcomes using dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other relevant deployment measurements. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with defined goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of DevOps within the team to achieve velocity, improve quality, and enhance predictability in networking through automation. Encourage continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline network infrastructure deployment processes.
  • Engage and partner with all Network Services Product teams to drive efficient introduction of new technologies into the network infrastructure environment. Provide support for businessled initiatives by aligning network solutions with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support employees' growth and development by identifying development opportunities, providing training, and facilitating access to resources. Set clear performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and recognize and reward high performers while providing support to team members facing challenges

Education Requirement:


  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Required Experience and Skills:


  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT or Network Infrastructure management and services experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in continuous Network Infrastructure delivery, deployments, or support for largescale organizations.
  • Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a matrixed and global environment.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams with a focus on capacity management of resources.
  • Proficient in Network Infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, DMZ, Firewalls, Load-Balancing, and shop floor network, with a strong understanding of current trends and lifecycles.
  • Experience and working knowledge in different delivery methods (agile, traditional) within large organizations, including proficiency in respective tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with product management techniques such as strategy, total cost of ownership, road mapping.

Preferred Experience and Skills:


  • Additional experience in specific automation use cases would be advantageous.
  • Additional advantage if knowledgeable in Cloud (AWS, Azure) and Data Centre technologies.
  • Experience with SAFe would be an additional advantage.
