Your Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental principles of fullcycle accounting duties.
Prepare Journal entries for client accounts.
Process the accounts payable for client accounts.
Collate and enter vendor expenses for client accounts.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger for client accounts.
Process employee timesheets and managing the client payroll system.
Prepare and pay payroll, sales, and franchise tax for clients.
Invoice clients and customers.
Process accounts receivable for client accounts.
Ability to work with confidentiality for client information.
Provide research support to a transaction review process.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in a timely and efficient basis.
Prepare the completed trial balance, including appropriate supporting documentation.
Always maintain attention to detail and professionalism.
Exhibit a desire to understand business transactions and related issues.
Ability to travel to local clients, when needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of bookkeeping experience.
Accounting degree is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Ability to work onsite.
