Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental principles of fullcycle accounting duties.
  • Prepare Journal entries for client accounts.
  • Process the accounts payable for client accounts.
  • Collate and enter vendor expenses for client accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger for client accounts.
  • Process employee timesheets and managing the client payroll system.
  • Prepare and pay payroll, sales, and franchise tax for clients.
  • Invoice clients and customers.
  • Process accounts receivable for client accounts.
  • Ability to work with confidentiality for client information.
  • Provide research support to a transaction review process.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in a timely and efficient basis.
  • Prepare the completed trial balance, including appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Always maintain attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Exhibit a desire to understand business transactions and related issues.
  • Ability to travel to local clients, when needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of bookkeeping experience.
  • Accounting degree is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work onsite.
