We are looking for you as Head of Guest Services (m/f/d)

Full-time/part-time

Tierpark Hagenbeck is the largest family-owned zoo in Germany. For more than 120 years, its name has stood for a unique mix of spacious park areas with open-view enclosures, animals from all over the world, and cultural buildings. In 2012, the popular Arctic Sea was created. In a total of more than five million liters of water, visitors can observe animals from the Arctic and Antarctic both above and below water. Since 2007, visitors have also been fascinated by the Tropen-Aquarium Hagenbeck: on 8,000 square meters, they can explore foreign and hidden tropical habitats with more than animal inhabitants.

Your tasks:

The Guest Services department includes the entire service area for our visitors. This includes modern ticket machines and personal cash registers with the option of cash payment, as well as welcoming and validating tickets by our friendly porters, and office administration and handling of telephone and written inquiries from our visitors.

As Head of Guest Services, you are responsible for the smooth operation of this department. Your responsibilities include personnel management, supervision of cashiers, and scheduling of shifts and vacations. As the first point of contact for the department, cross-departmental communication is also part of your job.
