Your role goes beyond supervision – you'll actively contribute to our hospital's philosophy and objectives and engage in educational and Performance Improvement initiatives.

Your leadership on the assigned shift will impact patient care and play a vital role in enhancing overall hospital performance.

Join us and be a driving force in shaping the future of healthcare delivery Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey.

Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SPBH.
Oversee and ensure staff adherence to standards of care, mental health practices, and hospital policies.
Lead and contribute to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and performance improvement initiatives.
Provide essential supervision, leadership, and direction to nursing staff.
Coordinate staffing schedules based on patient needs and maintain legal processes for patients.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and regulatory standards.
Develop, update, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document patient information, and reassess changes in patient condition.
Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred.
Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as an RN.

CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior, including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital is a state of art behavioral health and addictions hospital that opened in 2021 in the city of Plainfield, Indiana.

HBH provides a full continuum of both inpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs for adults with mental health and chemical dependency disorders.

HBH provides both inpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs for adolescents ages 13 to 17 with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders.
