Description
Part time server position at a retirement community.

Server is primarily responsible for serving guests on a cafeteria style steam table line and cleaning dishes in a dish room area while providing support in all areas of the dining room.

Also, will promote a safe and welcoming working environment to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.

Applicants must have food service experience and possess a working knowledge of safe food practices and kitchen safety. Servers must be able to multitask and provide excellent communication with team members and guests.

Hourly position is Monday thru Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Weekends and major holidays off.


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic restaurant service and pleasant attitude.
  • Neat, clean person with strong desire to serve people.
  • Ability to obtain a food handlers license.
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Must be able to work in a face paced environment.
  • Taking food orders on a cafeteria style food line.
  • Washing dishes through a dish machine.
  • Perform routine cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Washing pots and pan.
  • Maintains kitchen safety and sanitation.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to stand for the majority of shift.
  • Able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds.
