Bachelor's degree in Social Science preferred. Must have a high school diploma or pass a general educational development test (GED).
In the Director of Home Operations position, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Home Management
- Flow and functionality of a 30bed facility in relation to schedules, outings, events, management of residents' schedules, including but not limited to resident checkins, special speakers.
- Home maintenance including transportation, handling vehicle issues, handling physical plant issues including noticing and communicating needed repairs and replacements and coordinating work outsourced with approval from PD.
- Overall management of fitness, nutrition, and medical; organizing, managing, and developing budget (especially with food, medical and household) and working to undergird the backbone operations of the home.
- Fill in for Program Director, as needed.
Supervision
- Supervising the Program Assistant, Nutrition Manager, Fitness Manager, Household Manager, and Medical Services Manager
- Conduct staff evaluations
- Conduct oneonone meetings weekly or biweekly
- Conduct new hire orientation and training
- Oversee daily schedule and events for the home (Life Skills, Major Cleaning Days, work details)
Home Finances
- Process credit card by verifying for accuracy, coding for payment, attaching receipts and faxing to vendor each month on or before due date
- Ensure that approval process is followed for all major purchases
- Facilitate Thank You cards/letters from residents to donors
Coordination of Details of Home Events
- Luncheons/Dinners
- Visits/Stays by other homes
- Conferences/Special Events
- Sporting Events
- Volunteers
- Coordinate/Schedule daily transportation/staffing needs
Home Interns/Volunteers
- Review Applications
- Confer with Program Director
- Interview Applicants
- Train/Schedule Interns/Volunteers
- Provide Supervision for Interns and Volunteers
Resident Needs
- Assist as needed to confront issues concerning both residents and personnel
- Meet with residents as necessary to talk through crisis issues
- Assist in leading orientation with incoming residents and parents as needed
Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday or Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm (32 hours/week)
Compensation:
$2- 28/hour

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
