Summary


The main role of this position is to assist the Finance manager with local business matters and HQ related inquiry.

Meanwhile supporting the Finance manager in enhancing internal control to make sure daily business activity complies with local policies and Headcount procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory report and other documents required by local government.
  • Responsible for Finance closing and general ledger account reconciliation.
  • Track existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.
  • Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
  • Support other Finance staff with daily finance work.
  • Post accrual and amortization journal entry in General ledger and purchase invoice in AP.
  • Prepare monthly cost analysis report and hold monthly cost meeting.
  • Support internal and external audit under USGAAP and China GAAP.
  • Prepare HQ reports and respond to HQ inquiry.
  • Other tasks assigned by Finance Manager.

Skills and Experience

  • Fluent in English and Chinese language is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Tax, Audit or Finance, 13 years previous manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Proficient in USGAAP accounting and tax policy, familiar with China GAAP would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Ability to problem solve and trouble shooting.
  • Open and willing to follow established procedures, while identifying potential improvements.

Physical Work Conditions

  • Must be able to work in a hot environment.
  • Must be able to lift and move aluminum wheels of varying weight.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required.
