    As a Trade Support Specialist at Gelber, you will have a real opportunity to have a long-term career in Information Technology at a successful trading firm.

    You will work side by side with other talented individuals as the first line of defense for the firm.

    This role is for someone who flourishes in a fast-paced environment, has a strong work ethic, clear communication, and has a strong interest in growing their technical skillset.

    This position will report directly into the head of Trade Support who reports directly into the Chief Operating Officer.


    What you'll do:


    Provide first and second level support for all Gelber employeesProvide primary real-time monitoring and support for all trading software and secondary monitoring for technical infrastructureMonitor all Gelber proprietary applications and systemsCommunicating across the team as well as with all trading and internal desks, including technology, across the firmWhat you'll need:Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of work experienceGeneral understanding of Windows and LinuxBasic SQL knowledgeUnderstanding of Python and Powershell are not required, but must have a desire to learnStrong critical thinking skills and sense of urgency when it comes to supportAbility to lift or move items weighing up to 50lbsFlexibility with work schedule, including rotating schedule for on call on weekends and second shift (1-10pm central)Benefits HighlightsGelber offers a wide range of benefits to full-time employees in order to meet you and your covered dependents needs.
