Description
We are looking for a Facilities Associate to join our Bethesda, Maryland headquarters' team. You will be responsible for supporting corporate office operations and procedures for a national retailer, with over 200 locations nationwide supporting a balanced process to ensure the facilities are safe and well
- functioning. You will organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively handle stressful situations, effectively support team members, and manage vendor relationships. You will have input to support corporate office repair, mailroom functions, building visitor access support, space optimization and contract services, equipment, and supplies, and will have limited responsibility with the monitoring of data center facility operations.

You will report director to the Facilities Director.

You will

  • Working with the Facilities Director, you will coordinate and plan activities, administrative systems, and oversee select repairs and maintenance concerned with the operation of a commercial office facility.
  • Working with the Facilities Director, you will coordinate the facilities daytoday operations.
  • Working with the Facilities Director, you will coordinate arranging internal office moves and managing internal seating charts and plans, able to allocate space needs accordingly.
  • Working with the Facilities Director, you will coordinate the upkeep of equipment to meet health and safety standards.
  • Working with the Facilities Director, you will coordinate and maintain a professional working relationship with the building Property Manager and engineering staff at the Bethesda, MD location.
  • Supports office supply deliveries and all TW&M equipment service calls and outsourced service providers for effective, dependable service to the corporate office.
  • Other activities/special projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Operates successfully within annual budget.
You will come with

  • BA or BS degree required.
  • 4 plus years of experience


  • After hours

  • On call requirements monthly to support the commercial office data center
  • Work Order Management System (CMMS) experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience required with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate work and activities with tight and shifting timelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in fast paced environment in person, over the phone and in writing.

Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations):

  • Able to move office furniture (on wheels)
  • Ability to lift to 25lbs.
