Position:
Industrial Sweeper Associate

Are you someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a team? As an Industrial Building Exterior Sweeper at Mainstream Real Estate Services (MRES), you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our properties are kept in top condition.

Using hand brooms, shovels, and specialized sweeping machinery, you'll meticulously clean and maintain the exterior areas of large industrial and commercial buildings.

Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential as you work to uphold MRES's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Training and safety protocols will be provided to ensure your success in this role.


Working Conditions:

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot and sunny days as well as cold and cloudy.

The work can be physically demanding but is performed in a cooperative team environment where everyone shares the workload ensuring quick and efficient operation.

You will also be required and expected to safely operate a pickup truck and tow a low profile trailer.

Our 4x10 work week means that we will work 10 hours a day, and you get 3 well days off.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep the dock areas of large industrial and commercial buildings.
• Utilize specialized sweeping machinery to clean curbs and open areas of large industrial buildings.
• Engage in a variety of handson tasks assigned by supervisors with precision and efficiency.
• Skillfully operate an array of hand, power tools and machinery to execute assigned duties with finesse.
• Meet at designated jobsite each morning at 6:00am and work until 4:30PM
• Prioritize adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure and hazardfree work environment.
• Operate a pickup truck with tow a low profile trailer.
• Uphold the tidiness and systematic organization of designated work areas, vehicles, and main shop.

Requirements:

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Experience: Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles preferred but not required.

Dependability: Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.

Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required due to the role involving frequent operation of company vehicles.

Legal Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in the country or region where the job is located.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
