Machine Operator/Fulfillment Pack-Out

General Position Description:
This full time, salaried position has overall responsibilities to manage and maintain the production of our unique product and the maintenance of the Form/Fill/Seal machine, as well as participation on both the Fulfillment and Warehouse teams


Reporting Relationships:
This position reports directly to the Production Manager with secondary responsibility to both Fulfillment Manager and Warehouse Manager. (especially in the off season)


Qualifications:

• Natural or trained ability to understand and work well with manufacturing machinery (ForM/Fill/seal machine preferred)
• Mechanical reasoning skills and gifts to identify and fix problems in the manufacturing process preemptively.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs./drive forklift
• Strong leadership skills, team building and communication skills.
• Excellent ability to problem solve and make decisions.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change and grow in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and change priorities when necessary
• Ability to analyze and interpret information/documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate and manage production of a unique set of products on a forM/Fill/seal machine according to company objectives.
• Maintain efficient, product quality standards and documentation, keeping attention to QC detail and approval processes to meet the needs of the business. (Accurate record keeping and documentation.)
• Accurate management of time and materials needed for demands of production schedules
• Recognize and insure that health and safety standards are followed and maintained by anyone working on or near the machine
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Effective, discerning leadership in training and/or supervising regular staff, temporary staff or staff with special needs
• Support warehouse activities and ensure inventory items are stored safely and securely in coordination with Warehouse Manager/Fulfillment
• Participate in effective and timely copacking of products and components in packout room.
• Support and maintain a positive working environment
• Effective communication of support task requirements
• Maintain awareness and understanding of overall business strategies and direction.
• Support and assist fellow employees in their workload when necessary

Education & Experience:

Three (3) years experience in Machine operations/fulfillment preferred. Mechanical inclination necessary


Pay:
$ $23.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
