We are currently looking for a
Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) to join our team at our location in
Lüdenscheid (near Dortmund) at the earliest possible date
- initially limited until the end of 2024-.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring and analyzing procurement markets with a focus on plastics
  • Deriving and implementing purchasing strategies
  • Identifying new suppliers
  • Conducting negotiations and concluding contracts
  • Assessing the performance and innovation capabilities of suppliers
  • Intensive coordination with relevant internal business units and collaboration with global commodity management
  • Realizing optimization potential in supply chains and production processes
  • Conducting quality assurance and risk assessment

Your Profile:


  • Successfully completed technical studies or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, professional experience in strategic purchasing in the automotive sector
  • Technical understanding of components, manufacturing processes, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
