Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional care and support to our patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Provide handson assistance to patients during therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, accurately recording treatment activities and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current MA state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience or interest in orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
