Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional care and support to our patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation.
- Provide handson assistance to patients during therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress, accurately recording treatment activities and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current MA state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Experience or interest in orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
