    IEM is looking for a Full-Time, DevOps Engineer to join IEM`s Digital Services sector to support...
    internal and project duties.


    Primary Location:

    • Candidates
    can originate from anywhere in the United States (highly preferring east
    or central coast applicants), you will work remotely from home or personal
    office location


    • All remote
    work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds
    of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or
    less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices
    using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and
    access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for
    the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist
    with applying cybersecurity and privacy
    principles to organizational requirements.


    • Provide
    maintenance to existing web applications and launching application servers
    for developers.


    • Assist
    with
    administering various AWS services including EC2, Glue, Lambda, GuardDuty.


    • Ensure AWS
    organizational units conform to best practices of AWS Well Architected
    Frameworks.


    • Assist
    with process innovation to drive improvements,
    optimize operations, reduce costs, increase productivity, and deliver
    better outcomes.


    • Administer
    server environments including applying patches, backups, routine
    maintenance.


    • Assist
    with
    resolving any issues with web environments.


    • Ability to
    work independently, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task a must.
    Problem Solver / Troubleshooter


    • Demonstrated
    experience with following best practices for DevSecOps across multiple
    production environments.


    • Consistently
    stay up to date on latest trends and technologies. Propose new ideas when
    they seem applicable.


    • Must
    be a self-starter who is confident in their abilities and willing to take
    the initiative.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Comfortable
    with all aspects of a LAMP stack environment.


    • Understanding
    of Linux system administration, including ability to effectively leverage
    command line utilities.


    • Exposure to
    various AWS services (e.g., EC2, Glue, Security Hub, GuardDuty,
    CloudFormation.


    • Comfortable
    with CI/CD and understanding of Pipelines.


    • Experience
    with web-based programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python, JavaScript)


    • Knowledge
    of modern web application technologies and architectures.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity

    with any of the following is a plus:

    • Both relational and non-relational databases
    • Serverless
    environments


    • SIEM
    • Containerization
    Salary Range

    The salary range
    for this position is $60,000- $80,000 depending on experience.
