    Description

    Job Description - DevOps Engineer at Netsertive

    This position involves setting up and managing Netsertive's CICD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) system, including build and deployment servers, maintaining the code repository system, and managing Kubernetes clusters. As a DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Resolving Environment/Code/Config issues
    • Enhancing code delivery procedures
    • Monitoring production logs daily
    • Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation
    • Automating new environment deployments
    • Collaborating with Software Engineers, System Engineers, and other team members
    • Ensuring the health and performance of production systems
    • Mentoring fellow DevOps Engineers
    • Documenting production systems

    Qualifications for this role include:

    • BS/BA in Computer Science or relevant field
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development or system administration
    • Expertise in Linux OS and scripting languages like Bash or Python
    • Proficiency in source control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of LAMP stack technologies
    • Experience with Jenkins or Atlassian Bamboo for deploy and build plans
    • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem technologies
    • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and virtualization technologies
    • Java development experience
    • Skills in monitoring tools like Zabbix and Graylog2
    • Experience in Agile development and project management tools like JIRA and BitBucket
    • Desire to learn new technologies
    • Strong analytical and problems solving abilities
