Role and Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care for patients in a surgical medsurg setting.
Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Educate patients and their families on recovery processes.
Use electronic systems to document patient data and monitor progress.
Participate in the coordination of patient discharge planning.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a Compact state.

- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Requires at least 1 year of medsurg experience in an acute care setting.
